Rt. 9/522, Section 23E

The Rt. 9/522, Section 23E project involved bridge reconstruction and interchange reconfiguration. The project consisted of the widening and reconstructing a one mile section of Rt. 9. Rt. 9 is one of the heaviest travelled highways in NJ, so traffic control and safety is a major aspect of the project.

Red Bank Station, High Level Platform

This project involved demolition of an existing NJ Transit Rail Station platform and reconstruction of a new high-level platform along both northbound and southbound rails. The project was completed in four stages in order to keep the station operational throughout construction activities.

Rt. 35 Victory Bridge

Rt. 35 Victory Bridge

The Rt. 35 Victory Bridge is the first precast concrete segmental bridge ever constructed in New Jersey. The project involved building twin bridges side by side over the Raritan River. The Southbound structure was first constructed west of the existing Rt. 35 Victory Bridge (a historical Steel Swing Bridge). Traffic was then shifted onto the new SB structure so we could demolish the existing bridge.

This project required the construction of a grade seperated intersection to replace a signalized intersection in the heart of Woodbridge, NJ. Due to the location of the jobsite next to the Woodbridge Center Mall, road closings and traffic control were of major importance to the owner.

Interchange #89 Improvements

Interchange #89 Improvements

This project involved the construction of a new interchange at milepost #89 of the Garden State Parkway. The new interchange has an entrance ramp onto the northbound Parkway and an exit off of the southbound roadway. These new ramps required widening of the Parkway mainline which passes under Cedar Bridge Road.

Hazlet Station, High Level Platform

This project involved the demolition of the existing NJ Transit Hazlet Station along the NJ Coast Line and the reconstruction of a new high level platform. The existing platform and parking facilities had to remain operational throughout the entire project duration requiring extensive staging and coordination of work forces.

This project involved the construction of four bridges to create a grade separated interchange to replace the Rt. 1 & Rt. 130 traffic circle. Due to the heavy traffic and hazardous conditions at the existing circle the NJDOT identified this project as a fast track project with high importance.

This project involved the construction of a two story addition to the main office in Howell, NJ and complete renovation of the existing building. We also installed all new siding and roofs to the support buildings throughout the yard, including the maintenance shop.

Route 9, Section 25K & 1F

Our Route 9 project over the Raritan River was the Company’s first Design Build project. The project involved the design and construction of a 4,400 foot long, 60 foot wide bridge spanning the Raritan River and adjacent land from Sayreville to Woodbridge, New Jersey. The bridge was constructed in tight quarters between two existing bridge structures, the existing Route 9 bridge to the east and the Garden State Parkway bridge to the west.

NJ Transit Main Line 2nd Track

This project involves the construction of two miles of new rail track between Paterson Station and Paterson Junction, adjacent to an active track, on the Main & Pascack Valley Line. The major scope of work consists of constructing over 4,000 linear feet of cast-in-place concrete soldier pile retaining walls.
